1. Does it request access to your bank?

Look for the actual sign-in or connection flow. Does the app request a bank login, a connection through another provider or permission to read account data? Suiwise does not ask for your bank login or connect to your bank account. You provide the records you want to track. That reduces one kind of access; it does not remove the need to understand how those records are processed.

2. What is uploaded, and 3. who processes it?

Distinguish data stored only on a device from data sent to a service. Do not infer that an app works entirely offline because it uses manual entry. For receipts, ask whether images are retained; for voice, ask what happens to audio and transcripts; for chat, ask whether the messages are stored.

AI features may involve additional providers. Suiwise's privacy policy explains that content required for AI, speech and receipt requests may go to contracted providers. Read the policy's processing and retention sections, and decide whether the convenience is appropriate for the information you plan to submit. A label such as 'private' cannot answer those questions on its own.

4. What can household members see?

Shared finances need a clear boundary. Before inviting a partner, agree which records belong in the household ledger and which information should stay personal. Test the visible scope with a harmless example. Do not assume that hiding an amount on your screen changes another member's access, or that deleting a record immediately removes every historical copy.

5. Can you leave, and 6. what does deletion mean?

An export should help you keep your own records if you change tools. Check which data it includes, its format and whether the totals make sense outside the app. Keep a small test export before relying on a product for years of financial history.

Account deletion and subscription cancellation are different actions. Suiwise offers export and account deletion controls in Profile, and its policy describes deletion timing and backup retention. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete a service account. Deleting the account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Review both steps if you decide to leave.

7. Are the promises specific enough to verify?

Prefer statements you can check: no bank connection, a described retention period, a working deletion entry point and a support contact. Be cautious about absolute claims such as 'no one can see your data' unless the technical design and policy actually establish them. Do not assume that a model's training policy, encryption method or certification exists because it would be reassuring.

For Suiwise, begin with the published privacy policy and a small set of non-sensitive sample records. Then check the product against the workflow you intend to use. Privacy is an ongoing decision about what you share, with whom and for how long.
